ACTIVE STUDENT ENGAGEMENT
With the wireless Activslate, students are able to interact with lessons on the Activboard right from their desks. Slates can be used by individuals or in groups. Activstudio’s slate controller tool allows teachers to retain complete control of the classroom by selecting which slate is active at any given time. With the Activslate, students are more than just observers of a presentation - they’re active participants.
FLEXIBILITY FOR TEACHERS
Teachers love the Activslate because it gives them the flexibility to move around the room as they teach. Some of the top uses for the Activslate include: group work for sharing ideas on the Activboard; “proximity control” for discipline issues; and the ability to explain a concept to a few students using the Activboard, without disturbing the whole class.
SPECIAL FEATURES

Since the Activslate is radio-based, there is no need to point at a receiver.

The Activboard has a radio transceiver built in so there is no need to take up
additional ports for Bluetooth adapters or infrared receivers to use the Activslate.

The Activslate’s Activpen is totally interchangeable with the pens for the
Activboard.

The convenient pen holder allows users to easily pass the Activslate around
without dropping the pen.
NOTE: An Activslate comes standard in our Activclassroom Ultimate Bundle and Student Response Bundle and can, of course, be purchased separately as well.
“If I wanted to plot a point on the map up on the board for everyone to see, but not have them get up and walk to the board…they’re actually able to control the board from their desks without ever getting out of their chair.”
“Helps get everyone involved, including students who sit in the back row. You get those students participating. They don't have to answer loud, They can just click and drag.”
“Wow, I can’t believe you can do this,” (as they are circling and underlining words on the board with the pen). “They call it the ‘magic pen’ because they are able to manipulate what’s on the board. It makes more of an impact.”
