This two-day class is designed to give participants an understanding of the tools and capabilities of Activstudio software. At the completion of the class, participants will have the knowledge and skills necessary to utilize Activstudio to create and present interactive flipcharts. The class will review the Shared Resource Library, and participants will learn how to add their own resources such as images, sounds and text to My Resources in the library. The class will focus on using Activstudio tools with existing digital teaching resources (i.e. PowerPoints, the Internet), and participants will be able to effectively use Activstudio’s Power Tools. The class will explore the ability to create links from flipchart pages to existing resources, as well as how to incorporate linked actions into instruction.

Throughout this training, educators are provided the opportunity for hands-on practice at their computers and at the Activboard. Participants will create flipcharts for use in the classroom, and they will also be introduced to additional teacher resources, such as Promethean Planet, the online teacher portal and Promethean Learning, our online professional development.
